2017 Monsoon Fest
In its second year, The Monsoon Festival ran from August 6-13 in Vancouver and Surrey. During a span of 8 days, festival highlights included; a critically acclaimed, one-woman play, Burq Off! (New York), which has toured internationally; an Indian musical dance drama called Malavika, performed in Hindi at Surrey Arts Centre, presented in partnership with dance troupe Nrityenakatha.
Our Industry Series featured development workshops and an evening of spoken word & readings by Shekhar Paleja, Jotika, and Munish Sharma.
