Make your Sunday more fun and get your week started right with some dance moves that will surely get your blood flowing! We've lined up FREE dance lessons led by renowned dance artists in different dance styles.

In this session learn Bhangra dance, a globally renowned folk dance originating from Punjab, which is accompanied by the hard-hitting rhythms of Bhangra music. This class will be led by Raja Singh, also known as Bhangre Da Raja!

About Raja Singh

Raja is a professional dancer and globally recognized performer, best known on social media as “Bhangre Da Raja.” With a vibrant stage presence and deep-rooted passion for Punjabi culture, Raja has captivated audiences around the world through his powerful performances and authentic representation of traditional Punjabi folk dance.

He began his dance journey at the age of 17 and has since grown into a dedicated instructor, choreographer, and cultural ambassador. Raja specializes in Bhangra and other traditional Punjabi folk dances, sharing his knowledge with students of all ages and backgrounds through workshops, classes, and online content.

Notable Performances & Accomplishments:

  • Team Member, Bhangra Brigade – 2020
    Participated in a national-level competition in India, representing Bhangra Brigade

  • ⁠World Folk Festival – 2022
    Competed alongside Rangla Punjab Arts Academy at the World Folk Festival, showcasing Punjabi folk culture on an international stage.

  • Featured Performer, Diwali Night at Rogers Arena (NHL: Canucks vs Canes) – 2024
    Delivered a live Bhangra performance during the Diwali Night celebrations at a major NHL event, performing in front of a stadium audience at Rogers Arena, Vancouver.

  • Coach at Sunehri Arts Club – Present
    Coaching an all-girls academy for annual competitions across North America.
