Balkaran Singh is a cross-media creative - a writer, poet, spoken-word artist, songwriter and a painter. Settled on these unceded Salish lands, he practises his activism through art, exploring the human experience and the spirit’s struggle for self-realization and justice. Most of all though, he is a father to two well-rounded, spirited, intelligent and beautiful girls.

A small fraction of his work can be found on different platforms - he has teamed up with local creatives and released songs, and is also in the process of compiling a book of poetry.
